On the Farm

Lime Class – On The Farm

As our topic this half term was On the Farm, Lime class had a visit from a local farmer and his tractor! The children had prepared questions to ask him. He was very informative and we learnt a lot about farming in the local area.

The farmer grows peas and potatoes. He also grows maize and wheat. He also grows sugar beet and linseed. – Stanley

The farmer has 12 tractors. He also has 379 fields. – Chloe

They use a tractor to get the soil ready for the seeds. – Ella

They have horses and cattle on the farm. – Declan
